A consulting company that quantifies earthquake risk and supports companies in earthquake disaster prevention.

Our company is a research institute focused on urban disaster prevention, established in 1990 under the leadership of Professor Masanobu Shinozuka from Columbia University in the United States. We provide earthquake risk management (referred to as SRM) to support the selection of efficient earthquake countermeasures by estimating the downtime and damage costs due to earthquakes. Earthquake countermeasures include hard measures, financial measures, and the formulation of business continuity plans (BCP). Our track record in SRM includes various industrial facilities such as oil refining, petrochemicals, chemicals, paper manufacturing, automotive, automotive parts, pharmaceuticals, steelmaking, electronics, and home appliances. Additionally, we also work on power plants and airports.
