Furukawa Battery Co., Ltd. was established in 1950, independent from the battery division of Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. With the slogan "We are challengers," we have made it our mission to respond to changes with a sense of speed. We have developed products such as the world's first space-use lithium-ion battery, the next-generation lead-acid battery "Ultra Battery" with built-in capacitors, and emergency magnesium-air batteries made from paper containers. Our company focuses on automotive and industrial lead-acid batteries as its core business, and we develop, manufacture, and sell various battery and power systems that match the trends of the times and the needs of society, including nickel-cadmium batteries for railways and aircraft, and lithium-ion batteries for drones, robots, and artificial sanitation.
