"Landslides" can occur even on gently sloping surfaces compared to slope failures. They continue to slowly slide every day without stopping, and due to the depth of the sliding surface, the scale of the collapse can be dozens of times larger. Even if they temporarily stabilize, if the groundwater level rises, sliding can recur, leading to long-term impacts on the region's socio-economic activities. "Water drainage boring" is construction work aimed at removing water from the ground, as the name suggests. While "investigation boring" involves vertical drilling (downward), it is also referred to as "horizontal boring" because it drills in a horizontal upward direction. The drilling diameter ranges from 60mm to 90mm, and the hole length can vary from a minimum of 5m to over 80m for longer ones. Since the drilled holes would collapse if left as they are, PVC or iron pipes with 4mm holes are regularly arranged and inserted as "hole preservation pipes" down to the bottom of the hole. Water flowing into the holes of these "hole preservation pipes" is directed to the outlet, thereby discharging groundwater to the surface. "Water drainage boring" is construction work aimed at suppressing the occurrence and reactivation of landslides. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce the "Cleaning Method" of Hokuto Drill Co., Ltd. In the first process, water is ejected forward while probing the inside of the pipe with the nozzle, crushing deposits, cutting roots, and peeling off scales. The internal condition can be inferred from the measurements taken before cleaning and during this process, as crushed materials, cut roots, and scale fragments are discharged. Next, in the second process, water is ejected backward to discharge any remaining substances inside the pipe. The nozzle is rapidly brought to the bottom of the hole and retracted, completing the cleaning to eliminate harmful substances. In the third process, this method is not effective for all soil types. In cohesive soil mixed with gravel up to medium grain size, the discharge of recovered spring water continues for a while after cleaning, indicating its effectiveness. However, silt layers and sandy layers have smaller particle sizes, and materials like pumice expand, so excessive water application can lead to the inflow of unnecessary sediment. Washing away small sand from gravel layers can cause the gaps between the gravel to become clogged, resulting in pipe breakage or rupture due to flow and soil pressure. This process should be determined based on the soil type at the location and the discharged materials from inside the pipe, rather than theoretically. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationAt Hokuto Drill Co., Ltd., we are conducting "Borehole (Well Casing) Cleaning" as a recovery measure for the functionality of water collection and discharge effects. We offer a variety of injection nozzles, including the "Front Jet" which advances the nozzle while probing the interior of the pipe with water ejected forward, and the "Back Jet" which ejects water backward to discharge residual materials from the pipe. Please feel free to contact us if you have any requests. 【Product Lineup】 ■ FRONT JET - Advanced Nozzle ■ BUCK JET - Back Jet Nozzle ■ SIDE JET - Swivel Nozzle *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
