There is an indicator called "IP" that represents waterproof performance. In Japan, a standard based on IEC60529, which is one of the international technical standards set by the IEC, has been established as the "Protection Rating of Electrical Equipment Enclosures (IP Code)." The protection rating standard is a uniform method for verifying how much protective performance the outer enclosure of electrical equipment has to protect the internal components.
