Efurekkusu S" and "Flame Retardant Efurekkusu S" are corrugated rigid polyethylene pipes (FEP) with a jointed straight pipe shape. Traditionally, the Efurekkusu lineup consisted only of long roll types, but we have now added a straight pipe type that does not require any correction of coiling. Additionally, this product features an integrated joint structure, allowing for easy connection by simply inserting it. The Aqua Connector is a handhole mounting component for E-Flex. It can securely attach E-Flex to the walls of manholes and other structures without using mortar or water-stopping putty, simply by hand-tightening. "Generex" is a multi-channel, multi-layer piping system for underground buried cables. It allows for multi-channel, multi-layer piping without bending and accommodates different diameters. Reliable connections can be made with ease. "Super E-Flex" is a wave-formed pipe with high strength and flexibility, featuring independent waves. It is made of hard polyvinyl chloride that is heat-resistant and impact-resistant, and it possesses flame retardancy according to JIS C 3653 Appendix 1. There are five sizes available: φ80, φ100, φ130, φ150, and φ200. "Flame Retardant E-Flex" is a flame-retardant corrugated rigid polyethylene pipe suitable for locations where flame resistance is required according to electrical equipment technical standards. It has passed the flame retardancy test in Appendix 1 of JIS C 3653 and corresponds to self-extinguishing flame-retardant pipes as per Article 125 of the interpretation of electrical equipment technical standards. "SFVP" is a power cable protection tube designed for high-voltage cables used in underground renewable energy transmission. It excels in cable threading and construction efficiency, achieving high strength through its PVC material and structure. Delivery Title: Development of a "Slim Trench" with Indicator Function Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. has developed a surface-mounted cable trench (indicator trench and flat trench) with an indicator function that can be installed on road surfaces. ■Background■ In Japan today, discussions are underway for smart cities aimed at optimizing infrastructure and facilities to enhance convenience and comfort. In smart cities, various electronic devices are installed throughout the urban area, while communication and power cables, as well as water and gas lines, are buried beneath the pavement. One of the challenges in smart cities is to install new equipment while avoiding these existing utilities and ensuring cable routes. ■Product Features■ This product has a thickness of 55.5mm, which is about half the thickness compared to the minimum size class of 130mm for concrete cable trenches, allowing for a reduction in the amount of ground excavation required. This thickness is comparable to paving materials such as interlocking blocks and tactile paving blocks, enabling replacement with existing paving materials without significant changes to the foundation. Additionally, by integrating the indicator and cable conduit, simple installation is made possible.
