As the first step, in May 2026, we will launch a training course for analog circuit engineers, which will serve as an entry point for edge AI devices. The beginner course is designed for those who have no knowledge of semiconductor devices or LSI design. The "Edge AI Design Academy" aims to cultivate semiconductor and LSI design engineers in response to the rapidly evolving edge AI era. 1. An advanced training course for absolute beginners in LSI design to realize edge AI devices. 2. Texts written by on-site LSI designers and lectures by practitioners. 3. Practical training using commercially available EDA tools in the CDC Research Institute cloud. [First Phase] May 2026, Analog LSI Design Course (beginner and intermediate courses are two-week programs) - Beginner Course: Design basics from device operation to charge pumps and operational amplifiers. - Intermediate Course: Semiconductor circuit design with basic ADC/DAC, PLL, etc. - Advanced Course: Off-the-job training with self-assigned projects. Remote participation is possible. In preparation for the course launch, we are recruiting participants from companies, organizations, universities, and technical colleges, as well as seeking collaborative partners for joint utilization.
