In 2004, Okabe Corporation was responsible for the construction of "Yuyuu no Mori Nursery and Kindergarten" in Tsuzuki Ward, Yokohama City. The facility, which integrates the functions of a nursery and a kindergarten, began construction in the fall of 2004 and opened in the spring of 2005. Going beyond the traditional boundaries of kindergartens and nurseries, this facility prioritizes the natural development of children. It was designed by Mitsuru Senda, a leading figure in children's facilities in Japan from Tokyo Institute of Technology, in collaboration with the Environmental Design Institute (EDI), and has received numerous awards. As a model project for comprehensive facilities, it has garnered significant attention nationwide, attracting many visitors from both domestic and international locations.
