One of the missions in the establishment of the new Kaneda factory of Topre Kyushu Co., Ltd. was to shorten the tact time in various situations to improve productivity beyond that of the existing Kurume factory. From the initial planning stage, the goal was to eliminate lift operations as much as possible and to introduce AGVs to enhance overall competitiveness. However, the requirements for AGVs in parts processing manufacturers were high, and existing AGVs did not meet the specifications. Therefore, by developing original AGVs that meet the company's quality requirements, the introduction of AGVs became possible. Additionally, in terms of operation, by using two AGVs as one set flexibly across the entire line, we aimed to improve system efficiency.
