How to use α-Gaia

Preprocessing significantly changes fermentation! Increasing food production with large amounts of high-quality compost to create a healthy and long-lived society.

The reason fermentation takes time is that microorganisms cannot immediately break down cell walls, but "α-Gaia" instantly decomposes cell membranes (walls) using reactive oxygen species. It can process various aquatic plants, weeds, vegetable and food waste residues, excess sludge, plant factory residues, as well as chicken and pig manure. Additionally, processing with this device leads to the production of large amounts of high-quality compost, contributing to increased food production, the formation of a healthy and long-lived society, and the increase of local energy (gas and electricity). 【Features】 ■ Processing speed is 2 to 5 times faster than conventional methods ■ High-speed composting treatment ■ Increased methane gas production ■ Ethanol generation *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Organic waste pyrolysis furnace

Introduction of a comprehensive resource recovery processing system developed as a measure for solid waste that is difficult to handle and has low resource utilization.

The device is a comprehensive resource recovery processing unit developed to handle solid waste that is difficult to manage, such as discarded tires, ASR, RDF, and oil-containing sludge, with low resource utilization. It features continuous or batch material supply, where organic solid waste is introduced into a sealed pyrolysis furnace at temperatures ranging from 00 to 450°C in an anaerobic environment. The polymer chains that make up the organic matter decompose due to specific temperature, time, and cumulative effects, producing pyrolysis gas. This pyrolysis gas passes through a condensation unit, and the recovered liquid is crude oil, while the uncondensed gas is sent back to the combustion chamber for re-combustion. The combustion exhaust gas undergoes alkaline washing and activated carbon adsorption before being discharged in compliance with emission standards. 【Applications of Pyrolysis】 ■ Oil sludge ■ Waste tires ■ Hazardous waste ■ Organic industrial solid waste ■ ASR waste plastics *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Study on soil sterilization technology using reactive oxygen species (solution for continuous cropping issues)

I will introduce the research on soil sterilization technology using reactive oxygen species (solutions for continuous cropping problems)!

Our company conducted soil disinfection tests using a device that generates active oxygen from oxygen through research and development. Although active oxygen was released into the soil for only 10 minutes, the soil sterilization effect was greater than expected, indicating promising results for the agricultural use of active oxygen in the future. Since the released air escapes rapidly from the top of the ridges, we believe that by preventing the active oxygen-containing air from being released externally and allowing it to remain in the soil, effective sterilization can be achieved. Additionally, it seems necessary to confirm whether not only fungi but also larvae of pests can be exterminated. **Causes of Continuous Cropping Problems** - Damage from soil pathogens and soil pests - Physiological disorders due to the deterioration of the soil's physical and chemical properties - Harm from toxins released by plant roots (the so-called "sick soil" phenomenon) - Other unknown causes *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Study on fluoride treatment technology in wastewater using the processing agent "Terast."

We will introduce the research on fluoride treatment technology in wastewater using the processing agent "Terast"!

Our company currently manufactures three types of TERRAST: "Fe-TERRAST," "Al-TERRAST," and "Mg-TERRAST." We conducted treatment tests using these materials. By combining TERRAST, we found that the treatment efficiency significantly increased compared to the conventional treatment using only aluminum TERRAST. While iron (Fe) had only been used for arsenic treatment, it was discovered that it also works effectively for fluoride. Therefore, when Fe-TERRAST is available, fluoride treatment for drinking water becomes possible. In the future, we aim to establish even more efficient treatment methods by changing pH and treatment methods (such as two-stage treatment). 【Treatment Test】 ■Test Wastewater: Sample wastewater from a company (fluoride concentration 28 mg/L) ■Test Method: Test water and TERRAST were placed in a 1000cc graduated cylinder and stirred with a small aeration tube ■Test Duration: 5 hours (1 hour), 10 hours (2 hours) ※The times in parentheses indicate the treatment duration when processed using the TERRAST tower method. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Installation Example] Treatment of Fluoride-Containing Wastewater

Suspended solids are captured by the bag filter! The treated water is released after passing through the neutralization tank, resulting in fluorine-treated terrace.

At Kurose Co., Ltd., we were processing with simple equipment but were considering a more environmentally friendly processing method. Therefore, we installed equipment that includes an additional fluorine treatment terrace to reduce fluorine levels below regulatory limits. After implementation, the levels of fluorine and its compounds were 0.5 mg/L, BOD was 21 mg/L, and nitrogen content was 25.1 mg/L. The sludge removal from the bag filter is now done about once a month, and the replacement of the terrace is done about once every six months, reducing the operational burden. [After Implementation] - Fluorine and its compounds at regulatory levels: 0.5 mg/L, BOD: 21 mg/L, nitrogen content: 25.1 mg/L - Sludge removal from the bag filter approximately once a month - Terrace replacement approximately once every six months - Reduced operational burden *Excerpt from the "Case Studies of Water Treatment Technology for Small and Medium Enterprises" published by the Kinki Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Installation Example] Treatment of Antimony-Containing Wastewater

Applicable for the removal of boron, fluorine, and phosphorus! We will introduce examples of Terasuto filling tower installations.

At Kawasaki Sankou Kasei Co., Ltd., guidance was received from Shiga Prefecture, and a request for consideration was made to a certain well-known wastewater treatment manufacturer. However, due to the need for a vast installation area with the coagulation sedimentation method, along with a large amount of sludge generation leading to construction costs of several tens of millions of yen, they abandoned the idea. As a result, they introduced a Terrast filling tower, which is mixed with active aluminum ions, where antimony co-sediments with the active aluminum ions. After the introduction, the raw water concentration decreased from 0.07 mg/L to 0.01 mg/L, allowing for a reduction in installation costs to several million yen. [Case Study] ■ Before Introduction - The coagulation sedimentation method requires a vast installation area. - A large amount of sludge is generated, leading to construction costs of several tens of millions of yen. ■ After Introduction - The raw water concentration decreased from 0.07 mg/L to 0.01 mg/L. - This method reduced installation costs to several million yen. *Excerpt from the "Case Studies of Water Treatment Technologies for Small and Medium Enterprises" published by the Kinki Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Report on Measures to Reduce Anaerobic Biological Treatment Gas Remaining (Dissolved) in Wastewater Discharge

We will introduce a report on measures to reduce anaerobic biological treatment gas remaining (dissolved) in wastewater discharge.

Our company has promoted the oxidation of hydrogen sulfide gas through the supply of oxygen ultra-fine bubble (O2UFB) gas, aiming to reduce odors. This time, we selected oxygen UFB treatment as a measure against hydrogen sulfide gas, which has proven effective for us. In the test tank, the dissolved oxygen concentration in the hydrogen sulfide dissolved water rose immediately after the start of the test, confirming that the oxidation reaction proceeded very quickly. Under high-concentration oxygen water conditions, hydrogen sulfide gas loses hydrogen and chemically transforms into sulfur (sulfide), becoming odorless. [Test Results (Excerpt)] - Treated Water: Sample taken from anaerobic treated water (direct sampling) just before inflow into the discharge tank - Treated Water Volume: 500L (to confirm the reactivity relative to the target water volume) - Water Temperature: 32°C / Oxygen Saturation Concentration: 7.5mg/L - Dissolved Oxygen Concentration: 0.85mg/L / Anaerobic Condition *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Agricultural use of the α-Gaia processing device

Safe and secure agricultural production is organic farming! We are developing new materials and aiming to build a new agriculture.

What is needed for organic cultivation is the increase and activation of microorganisms. The "α-Gaia treatment device" can directly and rapidly reduce organic matter into a fine state that is easy for microorganisms to consume, allowing it to be directly introduced into the soil as a nutrient source. By adding our specially manufactured charcoal (O+K charcoal), it becomes weakly alkaline, preventing the proliferation of putrefactive bacteria, while the wide porosity serves as a habitat for both large actinomycetes and fine lactic acid bacteria, allowing for a substantial amount to be supported. 【Development of agriculture contributing to the prevention of global warming through α-Gaia treatment】 ■ Energy-efficient fine powdering of aquatic plants (transforming into organic compounds) ■ Suppressing the atmospheric release of carbon from aquatic plants and burying it in the soil ■ (Carbon) organic matter activates and increases soil bacteria ■ Transforming into CO2-reducing agriculture by reducing the input of chemical fertilizers ■ Enhancing the quality of cultivated vegetables and increasing yield by activating and proliferating soil bacteria *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
