The "Titan Coat," registered with NETIS, excels in long-term corrosion resistance for steel structures, achieving salt damage resistance, safe and secure construction, shortened construction periods, and reductions in initial costs and life cycle costs (LCC). It is a re-corrosion progression suppression type (rust conversion type) coating that can be utilized for extending the lifespan of structures such as bridges. By processing the substrate with a surface preparation of grade B or higher, it achieves rust prevention equivalent to the Rc-1 coating system. Since it does not require blasting treatment, it minimizes human and environmental impacts from dust and alleviates labor shortages. This method has accumulated over 1,000 construction achievements and is a rust conversion type anti-corrosion coating method called "Earth Coat," which adopts and inherits the same anti-corrosion substrate as its rust prevention layer while enhancing the durability of the protective layer. The protective layer uses inorganic fluororesin paint, forming a siloxane bond coating with excellent salt damage resistance, achieving high durability with outstanding weather resistance, pollution resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, bend resistance, and crack resistance. Additionally, it can reduce industrial waste disposal costs and temporary scaffolding protection costs. 【Features】 ■ No blasting treatment required ■ Achieves long-term corrosion protection ■ Possible to shorten construction periods, as short as 2 days ■ Expected durability of 64 years

Free membership registrationEnvironmental conditions in Okinawa Prefecture: - In addition to the conditions of heavily salt-damaged areas in Honshu, it is under a high-temperature and high-humidity environment for almost the entire year. - The distance from the coastline is short, resulting in significant influence from high-concentration salt carried by the sea. - Being close to the equator and having high levels of ultraviolet radiation creates a harsh environment where steel materials are prone to corrosion. - Research shows that the average corrosion rate is 2 to 10 times higher. Main causes of re-corrosion: 1. When newly constructed bridges are exposed outdoors, the coating on the steel deteriorates over time. 2. Water and air infiltrate through fine scratches and cracks that develop in the coating. 3. Corrosive factors come into contact with the steel surface, leading to corrosion. - In cases where the corrosion area is treated with sanding and repainting specifications, 4. Even if the steel surface is exposed through sanding, there may be residual rust that cannot be visually confirmed. 5. It is difficult to completely remove chloride ions that are attached to the rust inside. The durability of areas that have experienced corrosion is significantly inferior compared to when they were newly constructed, leading to relatively early re-corrosion of the coating. Why can long-term rust prevention effects be expected with Earth Coat? - Long-term corrosion prevention is achieved through a special function that incorporates a patented rust-inhibiting additive (Patent No. 3796580). - It can suppress corrosion acceleration caused by deliquescence due to salt damage.

Free membership registrationThe performance characteristics of sodium silicate-based impregnants are "reactive," allowing them to penetrate deeply when subjected to water curing. Therefore, the feature of maximizing performance was achieved through two applications (coating and water curing) × 2. However, the downside was poor economic efficiency. As solidified lithium silicate-based impregnants have been reevaluated, a significant price difference has emerged, leading to the introduction of sodium silicate products that do not require water curing and are effective with just one application. However, if the effect that is originally enhanced by water curing is considered to be 100%, it may drop to 60-70%. Moreover, there are four phenomena of concrete deterioration: carbonation, ASR (alkali-silica reaction), salt damage, and freeze-thaw cycles, which often deteriorate in a combined manner. Particularly in coastal and mountainous areas, salt absorption cannot be avoided. Ideally, after applying a lithium silicate-based impregnation that provides internal improvement effects, it is desirable to apply a water-repellent material that excels in suppressing moisture intrusion from the outside. This can help address issues related to construction period and costs. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe, who love the seas and nature of Okinawa Prefecture, have created a catalog dedicated to Okinawa with a heartfelt commitment to preserving that nature. This product is a stripping agent used for removing coatings, and it is widely used in projects such as bridges. While various considerations are necessary for its application, we believe it is important to anticipate unexpected events, and we have pursued safety in this method. In recent years, there has been an increase in cases of sudden heavy rain, such as downpours and linear flood zones. Conventional stripping agents pose risks, such as causing vegetation to wither, and if the components of the stripping agent are washed away due to rain, there are concerns about ecological impacts on agricultural products and coral as they flow from rivers to rice fields and the sea. Amidst this, we have successfully developed a neutral water-based stripping agent, ECO "STRIPPER," which excels in stripping power. Even at a concentration of 150 mg/L, the swimming inhibition rate for copepods is 0%, and the growth inhibition rate for algae is -2.1%, demonstrating extremely low ecological impact and excellent safety. It has been adopted by NEXCO Okinawa and civil engineering offices in Okinawa Prefecture. *For more details, please view the catalog from the PDF download or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThis construction method excels in peel strength, workability, and safety, and is designed as a peeling agent method that ensures and confirms safety, particularly considering unexpected situations as an environmental consideration. Recently, there has been a noticeable increase in unexpected natural disasters, such as sudden heavy rains and prolonged rainfall. Therefore, when considering the impact of heavy rain during the application of the peeling agent method, it is conceivable that sudden heavy rain could cause water to flow into the expansion joints or that horizontal rain could wash away the peeling agent. In such cases, concerns arise regarding the impact on rivers and rice fields. Consequently, STRIPPER conducted growth inhibition tests on Daphnia magna and algae. The results showed that even at a high concentration of 150 mg/L, the growth inhibition rate for Daphnia magna was 0%, and the growth inhibition rate for algae was -2.1%, indicating that algae actually grew, confirming minimal ecological impact. Due to its safety and good workability, it has been adopted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, prefectures, municipalities, NEXCO, and others even before NETIS registration. *For more details, please view the catalog from [PDF Download] or feel free to [Contact Us].

Free membership registrationRust conversion coatings come in a wide range of products, from household paints to heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings used for structures like bridges. To use an analogy with automobiles, while the role of "running" is the same, the capabilities vary from compact cars to sports cars. The same applies to rust conversion coatings; although they may turn black, they can sometimes yield less than satisfactory results. Therefore, we applied Earth Coat to a rusted steel surface (test plate) and removed the coating after several years using a stripping agent, then investigated the physical properties of the steel surface. The results showed that before application, the steel surface had a significant amount of red rust (Fe2O3 hematite), but three years after application, black rust (Fe3O4 magnetite) was definitely present, and red rust (Fe2O3 hematite) was not detected. It was concluded that Raman analysis is considered the most effective method for qualitative analysis of the surface near the steel. Since this method has yielded good results in testing, we hope it can serve as one of the criteria for determining whether this method's performance is equal to or better than other methods. For more details, please inquire or download and review the information.

Free membership registrationThe coating system "EarthCoatSystem" is a highly durable and long-lasting painting system that excels in salt damage resistance. This method is particularly effective in regions affected by salt damage to bridges due to airborne salt, especially during bridge repair work or repainting. *NETIS Registration Number: KK-110056-VR 【Current Situation of Corrosion Protection Coating for Bridges】 The corrosion protection manual clearly states that painting should be done within four hours after surface preparation. However, in reality, it is challenging to apply paint within that timeframe... Steel surfaces that have undergone first-class surface preparation tend to develop returning rust over time, which reduces the adhesion of zinc-rich paint and increases the likelihood of early defects. However, with EarthCoat, even minor returning rust can be managed, ensuring quality through rust conversion technology! ⇒ It is expected to be effective against the chronic issue of "returning rust." *For more details, please view the catalog from [PDF Download] or feel free to [Contact Us].
