It has been 11 years since I moved from Kanagawa Prefecture. I remember being surprised by the heat of summer in Saitama. Nevertheless, the heat in recent years has been extraordinary. Also, I enjoy climbing mountains as a hobby, but I can feel the changes in the environment. The number of mountain birds has decreased, flowers that usually bloom in certain places have not bloomed, and seeing "Bear Sightings" signs in such places is surprising... Due to my job, I inevitably pay attention to changes in nature. However, in reality, it seems that measures against global warming are not progressing much. Many people likely feel that global-scale actions are necessary. It may be time for each individual to take action. I myself have been involved with plastics for 40 years, and I want to use that experience to work towards "creating a better environment."
