In April 2019, we changed our company name from Wakamatsu Port Industrial Co., Ltd. to Wakako Co., Ltd. Our company is a local mid-sized enterprise primarily engaged in port civil engineering and dredging. In order to develop the ports and Hibiki-nada in Kitakyushu and contribute to regional development, we have repeatedly refined our technology and experimented with the large-scale and IC-based equipment to meet the needs of the next generation. We have obtained certifications for international standards ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety), earning high trust through our high quality, safe construction, and environmental conservation that adapt to customer needs. We aim to secure and develop human resources, build new technologies and equipment, and carry out construction work with sincerity, never forgetting our mission to contribute to the local community.
