Tatsuno Chemical is one of the few companies in Japan capable of manufacturing wide plastic sheets using the calendar method. Tatsuno Chemical started in 1953 as a manufacturer of flexible PVC sheets for toys, which later became a major trend. Since then, it has continued on the path of being a specialized manufacturer of plastic sheets using the calendar method for over 50 years. Currently, as a group company of Mitsubishi Corporation and Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd., it provides sheet and film materials across a wide range of fields, from daily necessities that enrich lives and construction materials such as printing films, to materials for electrical, electronic, and automotive parts like insulating tapes, and environmental conservation materials such as waterproof sheets. In 2001, it obtained ISO 9001 certification, an international standard for quality, establishing a product supply system that can be used with greater peace of mind. Additionally, it has successfully developed products that quickly respond to environmental needs, such as sheets with low CO2 impact throughout their entire life cycle.
