We are pleased to announce that we have decided to open up our "resin case type," which has traditionally been developed for internal use, to the gypsum mold industry for wider adoption. The main body (base) will be made of gypsum as before, but the outer frame will be constructed from epoxy resin and silicone rubber. This makes it lightweight and sturdy, and with sufficient gripping areas, it is easy to hold and allows for simple attachment and detachment. This innovation will streamline the gypsum mold shaping process, improving efficiency and particularly reducing the burden on workers. At Maeda Mold Co., Ltd., we manufacture gypsum molds for ceramic products such as industrial ceramics. To prevent the raw materials from leaking through the gaps in the mold during high-pressure casting, we employ a manufacturing method that takes into account the expansion during the hardening of the gypsum mold, as well as post-finishing processes at a level of 1/10 or less.
