Introduction to the swelling degree of Gel-Fit rope (bentonite) in saltwater. Using NaCl, a solution of arbitrary salt concentration was prepared and divided into a 100ml graduated cylinder. 2g of bentonite was measured and added to the above salt solution in ten increments every 30 minutes. After allowing it to stand for 24 hours, the scale at the boundary with the supernatant was read to determine the swelling degree. The test involved leaving the product submerged in water and measuring its weight (measured on days 7, 14, 21, 28, and 30). After installation, in a state of water pooling (still water) within the formwork, the internal bentonite did not decrease in weight.
