We would like to introduce a case study on Gastguard, a company specializing in products for the dining and cooking sector, such as cutlery holders and hygiene solutions. The previous casters used in their cutlery distribution system had poor operability and were difficult to use on uneven floors. Therefore, Blickle casters were adopted. We would like to introduce a case where wheels and sprockets developed by Blickle were implemented in the escalators located inside the Maastunnel in Rotterdam. There are eight escalators installed in the tunnel, and during maintenance inspections, it was found that the wheels were worn due to long-term use. Blickle developed and introduced a drive wheel with a diameter of 180×30 millimeters and a sprocket with a diameter of 180×40 millimeters. We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of casters and drive wheels for unmanned transport vehicles at Grenzebach Maschinenbau. The company's unmanned transport vehicle (AGV) "Grenzebach L1200S" can enter under equipment such as desks, carts, frames, and shelves, lift the equipment, and transport it to a specific location. However, to transport heavy equipment with the AGV, casters with a high load-bearing capacity were necessary. Therefore, we adopted the specially designed caster 'LSD-ALTH 101K-AS-FA-902289'. With our dual-wheel casters and drive wheels, the AGV can now be used around the clock and operates effectively even in narrow spaces with a turning radius of less than 1 meter.
