Norwegian furniture manufacturer Ekornes (President Kenji Oyama, headquartered in Tokyo, Chuo-ku, Kyobashi; headquarters: Norway) opened its second directly operated showroom in Japan, "Stressless Showroom Osaka," on February 11, 2021, following Tokyo. The new showroom, located on the 1st floor of the E-ma commercial facility in Umeda, central Osaka, recreates the Norwegian lifestyle that coexists with nature, including forests and fjords that cover much of the country, while creating a comfortable space that adds warmth to the sophistication unique to Nordic culture. In 2021, marking the 50th anniversary of the brand's birth, we aim to further enhance brand recognition and expand sales channels by establishing the Kansai region as our second base of operations.
