Founded in 1934, Ekornes Inc. is a furniture manufacturer based in Norway. Our flagship brand, "Stressless," offers reclining chairs and reclining sofas that are crafted by skilled artisans using carefully selected materials, primarily produced at our headquarters factory in Norway. We have over 30 years of sales experience in Japan, mainly through department stores nationwide. Stressless provides furniture that transforms your home or office into a high-quality relaxation space where you can unwind.

On February 11, 2021, we opened the Stressless Showroom Osaka, our second location in Japan.
On June 5, 2022, we relocated and renewed the Stressless Showroom Tokyo within the same Kyobashi area. The new showroom is approximately 1.5 times larger than the previous one, showcasing all domestic stock items listed in the catalog. You can sit down and try them out comfortably.
