Images such as pictures, photographs, and text, composed of inorganic pigments, are baked at temperatures above 850°C onto porcelain tiles with low water absorption and freeze resistance. The surface is protected with a transparent glaze. Because it is resistant to ultraviolet rays and does not fade, it can be used for a wide range of applications, including outdoor signs, murals, and floor signs. It is also resistant to water and humidity, making it suitable for use in bathrooms and pools.
