Daiwa Tsukiban Industry was founded in 1967 in Hiroshima Prefecture. We handle everything from veneer processing to painting processes in-house, manufacturing and selling natural wood decorative plywood, fireproof materials, custom materials, and various painted products for architectural interiors. We are a manufacturer boasting one of the top production volumes in Japan for custom veneer decorative panels. We have turned our attention to the "scraps" and unused materials generated during the production of veneer products, with the desire to upcycle these scraps and unused materials to contribute to a sustainable future, and to allow many people to feel the warmth of real wood. This led to the establishment of our upcycling brand "FORESTERIOR," which combines the technical skills of Daiwa Tsukiban Industry with the sensibilities of space designers and graphic designers. To give new value to veneer, we pondered how to achieve a sustainable future alongside veneer, and the answer we arrived at was upcycling through design. "PIVOT" is a three-dimensional design panel made from natural wood veneer. The 2.5mm texture creates shadows on the surface of the material, enhancing the feel of the natural wood veneer. You can freely combine 12 types of frame designs with 8 variations of veneer. The "INGOT MessageWALL" is a material that utilizes a patented new method called "Metal Glattage," allowing for the expression of metallic luster that is difficult to achieve with printing and complex patterns that are challenging with cutting sheets, all within natural wood. It can provide a unified material not only for sign walls but also for walls, fixtures, furniture, and small items. "INGOT" is an interior decorative panel made by combining natural wood veneer and metal foil. Thanks to a patented special manufacturing method, metal foil is embedded within the natural wood, creating various reflections depending on the viewing angle and light direction. We manufacture "laser-cut panels" by cutting MDF into various designs with a laser and finishing them with double-sided painting. We can apply metallic coatings or utilize the texture of natural wood, allowing for changes in the image even with the same design based on the surface finish, making them suitable for office and store partitions. 【Features】 ■ Designs available in four types: Komugi, Karakusa, Keyaki, and Bamboo ■ Both surface finishing and cutting can be produced on a per-piece basis ■ Cutting patterns are compatible with DXF data. When passed through a Uzukuri processing machine with three types of rotating wire brushes, only the soft parts of the wood are shaved away, allowing the unique texture of natural wood to be expressed. We would like to introduce the "vacuum lamination processing" performed by Yamato Tsukiban. In this process, the veneer is ironed onto the substrate and bonded using a vacuum press. By applying a V-cut on the back side of the base material using NC (numerical control) and folding it to secure it, we can assemble it into shapes such as columns and trim. We would like to introduce the "manufacturing equipment" of Yamato Veneer, which not only produces flat decorative panels but also engages in the manufacturing of custom materials, secondary processing, and assembly. The NC processing machines we possess can perform complex operations such as cutting, engraving, peeling, and V-cutting based on the input data. Additionally, our laser processing machine can cut finer lines than the NC processing machines, making it suitable for detailed patterned accent panels. The surface features a 0.2mm slice of high-quality domestic wood, achieving a design with the unique texture and presence of Japanese wood. With many customizable options such as substrate, size, paint color, and gloss, it can accommodate a wide range of needs. When made fire-resistant, it can be safely used in buildings with interior restrictions, such as high-rise buildings, hotels, and large commercial facilities. It can be safely used even in buildings with interior restrictions, such as high-rise buildings, hotels, and large commercial facilities.
