The wire mesh origami "ORIAMI" is a product developed by Ishikawa Wire Mesh. It possesses the flexibility and durability of wire mesh while allowing for easy folding like origami to create works of art. Recently, its flexible shapes and metallic texture have been loved by creators, leading to the production of beautiful works using ORIAMI. This time, we had the pleasure of having Mr. Higashi Katsukawa, an active origami artist, create a lamp using ORIAMI.

Ishikawa Kanamai has been selected to receive the "2023 Arakawa Ward Long-standing Business Award." In Arakawa Ward, businesses that have continued operations for over 100 years and contributed to the development of the local economy and community are recognized as "Long-standing Businesses of Arakawa Ward." Ishikawa Kanamai celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2022. We are truly honored to hear the news of this award decision. The award ceremony will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
