Kunikida Co., Ltd. was founded in 1902 as a wholesaler of textile products, and after a century, it has now become a manufacturer and seller of tatami products as its main business. Since the beginning of our focus on the tatami product and sales business, we have been manufacturing using traditional, strong, and safe methods, while also establishing manufacturing techniques for functional tatami, such as thin tatami targeted at new century housing, highly decorative edge-less tatami, and tatami compatible with floor heating. We have also actively introduced manufacturing equipment capable of handling these innovations. We are also actively advancing new technology development and equipment development and introduction.
