Free membership registration"Polyual" is a corrosion prevention coating for aluminum fins patented by Blygold. It is known that in work environments such as pickle manufacturing, seafood processing, cyanide fumigation warehouses, fermentation equipment for beer, sauce production, mushroom cultivation, photo development equipment, and hair salon permanents, the deterioration of indoor units is severe. Regular and careful maintenance of air conditioning indoor units primarily involves cleaning, and no preventive measures against salt or corrosive gases are taken. In such work environments, the generation of gases that corrode aluminum often leads to the resignation of users to replace fins every three years, with many opting for expensive stainless steel or copper fins. By applying our product, a coating film is formed on the surface of the aluminum fins, helping to prevent deterioration. [Features] - Suppresses the growth of bacteria and mold on heat exchanger aluminum fins - Addresses heat exchangers that cannot be protected even with cationic coatings - Protects outdoor units in salt-damaged areas where salt damage occurs even with heavy salt damage specifications - Repairs through touch-up, providing semi-permanent protection for fins - Maintains high thermal conductivity, allowing for thick coating films and heat exchange performance, among others *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationUnit coolers (refrigeration units) tend to deteriorate quite rapidly when there are degrading factors such as salt or acids present in the air, as they circulate large volumes of air within refrigerated warehouses and low-temperature workspaces. The aluminum fin deterioration prevention coating "Polyual" provides robust protection even in such environments, promising energy savings and longevity of the equipment with minimal maintenance. Additionally, while continuous operation of unit coolers is expected, they are not off-the-shelf products, so the business impact of a breakdown can be significant, and replacement can take time. In environments where it is particularly important to avoid such risks, we recommend using Polyual coating to ensure stable operation. 【Features of Polyual】 ■ Provides semi-permanent protection ■ Maintains and restores the initial performance of fins ■ Effectively protects the air conditioning unit's function from salt damage and polluted gases ■ Protects thoroughly from the inside of the fins to the ends ■ Shuts out the intrusion of salt damage and pollution *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationIn Okinawa, a region affected by severe salt damage, neither salt-resistant nor heavy salt-resistant specifications are used. Instead, a special coating known as "Okinawa coating" is employed to protect aluminum fins. However, the thin salt-resistant and heavy salt-resistant specifications, which are only a few microns thick, deteriorate and peel off almost entirely within a year under direct sunlight. The aluminum fin deterioration prevention paint "Polyual" is 20 microns thick, similar to Okinawa coating, making it less susceptible to UV damage and providing long-lasting durability. **Brighgold's Solutions** - World-leading technology used in 50 countries for 30 years - A protective agent specifically for aluminum fins that reliably protects the fins - High thermal conductivity maintains and restores the performance of aluminum fins - Outdoor units in use can also be coated - Touch-up repairs provide semi-permanent protection for the fins *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationIf you continue to use fins that have deteriorated due to salt damage, it can lead to unexpected increases in electricity consumption and sudden high-pressure cuts, resulting in operational losses. Issues with air conditioning and refrigeration equipment can significantly impact management. Microchannel heat exchangers have very fine piping through which the refrigerant passes, making it difficult to detect leaks when they occur, as small amounts of refrigerant leak slowly. By the time you notice it, there may already be an increase in electricity consumption and further operational losses. Therefore, we propose our aluminum fin deterioration prevention coating, "Polyual." 【Brighgold's Solution】 - World-leading technology used in 50 countries for 30 years - A protective agent specifically for aluminum fins, ensuring reliable protection - High thermal conductivity that maintains and restores the performance of aluminum fins - Repairs through touch-up, providing semi-permanent protection for the fins *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationBrigold has established a coating method for MCHX-type heat exchangers through testing in the Netherlands. In Europe, there have been many cases of deterioration and unusability of MCHX over the years, so polyal coating for MCHX has now become a standard technology, and major manufacturers are recommending polyal coating. Additionally, the casing that is installed on standard products must be removed for painting, which significantly increases the construction time compared to heat exchangers without casing. 【Features of Polyal】 ■ Provides semi-permanent protection ■ Maintains and restores the initial performance of the fins ■ Effectively protects the air conditioning unit from salt damage and contaminated gases ■ Protects thoroughly from the inside of the fins to the ends ■ Shuts out the intrusion of salt damage and contamination *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationStainless steel fins deteriorate under severe salt damage conditions, and their low thermal conductivity is well known. Copper fins excel in thermal conductivity due to their close contact with copper tubes, but they are expensive, and the salt resistance of copper is not significantly different from that of aluminum, resulting in a deterioration rate that is said to be about half that of standard aluminum fins (deterioration between dissimilar metals can be avoided). Under conditions where standard aluminum fins deteriorate in three years, copper fins would deteriorate in about five to six years. Therefore, we propose our aluminum fin deterioration prevention coating, "Polyual." 【Features of Polyual】 ■ Provides semi-permanent protection ■ Maintains and restores the initial performance of fins ■ Effectively protects the air conditioning unit's function from salt damage and polluted gases ■ Thoroughly envelops and protects the fins from the inside to the ends ■ Shuts out the intrusion of salt damage and pollution *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationCationic electrodeposition is an excellent rust prevention technology; however, in the case of heat exchangers, a film thickness of 20 microns, which is expected to provide sufficient rust prevention effect, can affect thermal efficiency, leading to an increase in electrical material quantity and potentially requiring larger equipment. Therefore, we propose our aluminum fin deterioration prevention coating "Polyual." 【Comparison】 <Cationic Electrodeposition / Polyual> ■ Application: At manufacturing / At manufacturing and installation site - Since thinner is used for Polyual application, if installed indoors, it will need to be painted outdoors before installation. ■ Film thickness: 8–30 microns / 20–25 microns ■ Thermal conductivity: Low / High - Polyual has thermal conductivity equivalent to aluminum. ■ Repairability: Not possible / Possible *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationSalt-resistant and heavy salt-resistant outdoor units use aluminum fins coated with a polymer known as pre-coat, which protects the aluminum from salt damage and other hazards. However, while the thickness of the Polyual membrane is 20 to 25 micrometers, the pre-coat is only about 2 to 3 micrometers thick. After 3 to 5 years of exposure to salt damage, rust can occur, and the pre-coat membrane may disappear due to ultraviolet rays. Additionally, since the pre-coat involves processing aluminum sheets coated with polymer, the cut surfaces, internal cutouts, and contact points with copper pipes are exposed to the outside air, becoming entry points for salt damage and corrosion. The aluminum fin deterioration prevention coating "Polyual" addresses these issues. [Overview] The Polyual coating membrane is applied after the heat exchanger assembly, ensuring thorough protection of both the contact points with the copper pipes at the fin tips and the internal cutout areas. In salt-resistant pre-coats, these areas are exposed to outside air. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationEnvironmental factors that significantly affect the performance and lifespan of heat exchangers in outdoor units of air conditioning systems, in addition to salt damage and volcanic gases from hot springs, include acid rain, exhaust gases, and various air impurities from agricultural and industrial production. On the other hand, it is said that many malfunctions in air conditioning equipment originate from the heat exchanger and aluminum coils, and failures in components such as compressors are often caused by performance degradation of the heat exchanger or overload due to clogging. Maintaining the heat exchanger of the outdoor unit, which processes an amount of air equivalent to a full Tokyo Dome in a week, is directly linked to the lifespan of the air conditioning unit, especially when compared to the heat exchange device of the indoor unit that is protected by a filter. Therefore, we propose our aluminum fin deterioration prevention coating, "Polyual." 【Features of Polyual】 ■ Provides semi-permanent protection ■ Maintains and restores the initial performance of fins ■ Effectively protects the functionality of air conditioning units from salt damage and contaminated gases ■ Thoroughly envelops and protects fins from the inside to the edges ■ Shuts out the intrusion of salt damage and contamination *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe often receive inquiries about whether it is possible to apply a topcoat over cationic electrodeposition paint. The answer is yes, it is possible and there are proven results. However, when a topcoat is applied over cationic paint, the adhesion is dominated by the cationic layer. If the brittle cationic coating cracks or peels, the topcoat may also tear, and in such cases, it will not be covered by warranty. Using a thin pre-coat film with salt damage resistance reduces the risk, but the adhesion will still be weaker compared to direct painting on aluminum or copper. Considering the costs, we recommend painting directly on aluminum or copper. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationAbout half of the heat exchangers we are currently painting are for the purpose of preventing refrigerant leakage. In an atmosphere containing acids, sulfur, and ammonia, corrosion occurs in the copper pipes of the vent section, leading to pinholes and resulting in refrigerant and Freon leakage. Polyurethane prevents the occurrence of corrosion, thereby preventing Freon leakage. Although measures against Freon leakage are being tightened, we recommend polyurethane for preventing leakage in heat exchangers, which are one of the components that are difficult to replace. Please note that copper pipes that have already begun to corrode may experience leakage during the painting process; therefore, as a general rule, we do not paint anything other than new parts. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
