On September 17, 2024 (Tuesday) at 5:01 PM, NHK Tokushima Broadcasting Station aired news about a demonstration experiment of land-based shrimp farming in Naka Town. This experiment started last month, and on this day, seven officials from the prefecture inspected the facility set up at Hiratani Elementary School and received explanations about shrimp farming from the contractor's representative. The program showcased the use of our IoT monitoring system to measure temperature and oxygen levels, allowing remote confirmation of water conditions.

In Nakacho, Tokushima Prefecture, a demonstration experiment for Japan's first "land-based farming of kuruma shrimp" was launched on August 20, 2024, utilizing the closed Hiratani Elementary School as part of a town revitalization project. Our company's IoT system for land-based aquaculture (product name: Bright Noah-1.0) was delivered as a system to monitor the water quality and temperature of seawater, as well as the indoor environment, 24 hours a day. This project was realized through the support of Seaside Consulting Co., Ltd., a pioneer in land-based shrimp farming, which is conducting a demonstration experiment of our aquaculture monitoring system in Kyonan Town, Chiba Prefecture. This collaboration came about after our CEO, Kurita, expressed his desire to contribute to regional revitalization through land-based aquaculture utilizing abandoned farmland and closed schools at the "Business Concept DX Summit" held in August 2023, which resonated with Hakuhodo Products Inc. As for the kuruma shrimp harvest, it is scheduled for the end of October of the same year, during which remote monitoring, maintenance of communication devices, and data collection will take place. We look forward to sharing the news of a bountiful kuruma shrimp harvest.

We have released a PR video titled "Evolving Land-Based Aquaculture - Achieving Sustainable Aquaculture with IoT Technology," summarizing our recent activities, product introductions, and future prospects on the Tele-sentient site of our company website. Since the introduction of our system to Seaside Consulting, which is engaged in land-based farming of Pacific white shrimp in October 2022, we have made improvements to the system through demonstration experiments and gained valuable experience in land-based aquaculture through local activities.
