Partial application of the "EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)" will begin in September 2026. The CRA is a law imposed on products that contain many digital elements sold in the EU, requiring compliance with various security requirements. At this exhibition, we will introduce products/services for embedded Linux security measures that support compliance with security legislation and standards, including the CRA, under the theme "CRA Application Starting Soon! Cybertrust / Lineo Solutions will exhibit at "EdgeTech+ West 2024," which will be held at Grand Front Osaka from July 11 (Thursday) to July 12 (Friday), 2024. Legislation and standards are being developed to address the threats of cyberattacks, with full-scale operations expected to begin around 2027. Each piece of legislation and standard requires: - No exploitable vulnerabilities to be included at the time of shipment - Creation of an SBOM (Software Bill of Materials) - Regular management and response to vulnerabilities - Obligation to report to local authorities and respond promptly if an exploited vulnerability is discovered - And more. Cybertrust / Lineo Solutions supports a strong start to achieve continuous security maintenance. At the venue, we plan to showcase security services and solutions necessary at each stage: "design phase," "development phase (pre-shipment)," and "operation phase (post-shipment)."

This product is a Yocto-compatible Linux OS for IoT and embedded systems, with a proven track record of reliable operation and long-term use in mission-critical fields. It supports compliance with the international standard for industrial control system security, "IEC62443-4-2," and provides vulnerability patches for over 10 years, making it safe for use in products that are operated for long periods, such as industrial and medical devices.
