We are engaged in the development, manufacturing, and dissemination of products for guiding people with disabilities, such as Braille guidance boards, various Braille signage, and audio devices.

Sun Kogei Co., Ltd. has been involved in the research and development of Braille signage and other systems since 1975, at a time when walking guidance systems for visually impaired individuals were not widely recognized. We have progressed with the development with the cooperation of Kyoto City and various related organizations. However, nowadays, as guidance systems are increasingly incorporated as part of construction projects, there seems to be a tendency for the original welfare-oriented systems to take on a life of their own in terms of style and form. With the occasion of our 40th anniversary, we would like to return to our roots and strive for the development of a nationwide standardization of guidance systems for visually impaired individuals as a form of welfare.
