Our company offers a system called "Suspension PS Logging," which simultaneously measures the P-wave and S-wave propagation velocities between receivers embedded at 1-meter intervals. Since there is no need to fix the receivers to the borehole wall and the distance between the source and the receivers is constant, it is theoretically possible to measure at any depth.
