Tsuchiya Construction offers comprehensive construction services, including civil engineering and building construction. We would like to introduce a case study of "Concrete Structure Repair" that we have undertaken! 【Tsuchiya Construction Concrete Repair Case Study】 ■ Project: Mie Prefecture - Kamishima Observation Post An old Imperial Army facility on Kamishima Island in Toba City, Mie Prefecture, featured in Yukio Mishima's novel "The Sound of Waves." It is used for film shooting locations. ■ Purpose of Construction To restore a building that has been prohibited from use due to aging and to prepare it for use as a tourist facility. ■ Construction Proposal We proposed the "IPH Method," a suitable technique for repairing and reinforcing concrete structures, ensuring that the appearance and atmosphere of the deteriorated reinforced concrete building are not compromised. By injecting low-viscosity epoxy resin into the fine cracks and voids in the concrete, we aimed to improve durability and restore structural strength. ~ What is the Concrete Repair Method "IPH Method"? ~ Unlike conventional low-pressure resin injection methods, this technique involves injecting resin while removing air from the crack locations on the concrete surface, integrating the cracked concrete and ensuring durability. It enhances the adhesion strength between the rebar and concrete, and also provides anti-corrosion effects. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration"Silicali" is a silicate-based surface impregnation material that improves the performance of structures without changing their appearance, while also excelling in workability and cost-effectiveness. For new structures, it is applied during the design phase to ensure durability. For existing structures, it can be effectively utilized for deterioration suppression and preventive maintenance of structures that are at risk of deterioration. It is primarily composed of potassium silicate, which not only inhibits the intrusion of deterioration factors but also prevents water ingress. 【Features】 ■ Improved permeability ■ Maintains the aesthetic of concrete surfaces ■ Shortens construction time and reduces costs ■ Minimizes environmental impact *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationTsuchiya Construction, which operates in the general construction industry, handles the internal pressure filling joint reinforcement method known as the 'IPH method.' This method achieves "strength recovery" and "extended lifespan" for concrete structures that have deteriorated due to aging or earthquakes. It is a special technique that injects resin while extracting air from within the concrete, allowing the resin to diffuse radially from the drilled holes and fill even the finest cracks at the ends. This not only enhances the adhesion strength between rebar and concrete but also provides anti-corrosion effects, contributing to improved durability. 【Features】 ■ Strength recovery and increased load capacity of concrete structures ■ High-density filling to the finest cracks at the ends ■ Improved durability due to anti-corrosion effects ■ Technological evaluation from the Japan Society of Civil Engineers and patent acquisition for the method 【Construction Example: Kamishima Monitoring Post in Mie Prefecture (Photo)】 We restored a building that had been prohibited from use due to aging and prepared it for use as a tourist facility. 【Strengths of Tsuchiya Construction】 We handle a variety of methods and excel at providing proposals tailored to site conditions. We can provide consistent support from preliminary diagnosis to post-repair inspection. Please feel free to contact us! *Method information can be viewed in the catalog available for [PDF download].

Free membership registrationThe "Shikkarito Series" is a product that enables waterproofing of concrete using a silane-silicate surface infiltration method. The "Shikkarito Modifier" is designed to penetrate deeper into the concrete than water due to its smaller size than water molecules and the effect of penetration aids that reduce surface tension. It contains lithium nitrite, which is expected to enhance the durability and waterproofing function of concrete while also providing anti-corrosion effects for rebar. Additionally, there are "Shikkarito Water Absorption Prevention" and "Shikkarito Combined Method" products available. 【Effects】 ■ Shikkarito Modifier (silicate-based) - Densification, prevention of neutralization, prevention of initial drying cracks, waterproofing, water stopping, prevention of efflorescence ■ Shikkarito Water Absorption Prevention (silane-based) - Water absorption prevention, prevention of salt damage, anti-mold, anti-algae ■ Shikkarito Combined Method - Densification, water absorption prevention, prevention of salt damage, suppression of neutralization, anti-mold, anti-algae, prevention of efflorescence *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe "Crystal Floor Slab Waterproofing Method" is an inorganic hybrid waterproofing method for concrete floor slabs, consisting of a primer made primarily of modified silicate and a topcoat made primarily of colloidal silica. The impregnation-type primer penetrates approximately 5mm into the upper surface layer of the concrete floor slab, achieving densification. Next, by applying a coating-type inorganic polymer topcoat, excellent waterproof performance is exhibited. Since the construction involves only the application work using rollers or sprayers, it allows for a reduction in construction time. 【Features】 ■ Waterproofing ■ Freeze-thaw resistance ■ Surface modification ■ Non-combustibility ■ Safety *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe "Nano Coat" series is a water-based, single-component inorganic polymer coating material that prevents swelling and peeling caused by moisture inside concrete. Due to its molecular structure formed at the nanometer scale (one-millionth of a millimeter), it does not allow water to pass through but permits air to flow, making it a "breathable coating material," which maintains good adhesion. It is suitable for application on substrates both inside and outside buildings (such as concrete surfaces, mortar surfaces, PC surfaces, slate surfaces, etc.). 【Features】 ■ Durability ■ Moisture permeability ■ Safety ■ Workability ■ Non-combustibility *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
