Hoshino Sansho Co., Ltd. has over 40 years of experience in the treatment of steelmaking slag at electric arc furnace steel manufacturers. Throughout this time, we have worked diligently to process slag and commercialize it as concrete aggregate. With support from various sectors, in 2006 we became the first in the nation to obtain JIS certification (JIS certified factory) for "electric furnace oxidized slag aggregate." Today, our products are used in a variety of applications, including wave-dissipating blocks, vibration control structures in buildings, and partitions in nuclear reactor facilities. Additionally, in the field of medical waste, we have been handling industrial waste from medical institutions in Aichi, Mie, and Gifu prefectures for over ten years since the system's inception, earning their trust. We believe that recycling breathes new life into waste, and it must not only be a recycled product but also an attractive product that cannot be replaced by anything else. As the establishment of recycling systems has long been a significant theme in Japanese industry, we will continue to strive for the further realization of "recycling" that truly functions as a business.
