Yagura Hume Pipe Industry Co., Ltd. is a company located in Izumisano City, Osaka Prefecture, that manufactures sewer materials such as Hume pipes, manholes, and pre-cast holes. Hume pipes (centrifugally cast reinforced concrete pipes) are high-strength pipes formed by compaction using centrifugal force. The main raw materials are cement, sand, gravel, and reinforcing steel, which means that no harmful substances are generated during the manufacturing process, and after removal, they can be reused as concrete aggregates or road base materials, making them environmentally friendly pipe materials. Since the manufacturing method was invented in 1910, Hume pipes have been utilized in various fields, particularly positioned as a primary pipe material in sewer systems. The quality of Hume pipes is stable according to Japanese Industrial Standards, Japan Sewer Association Standards, and National Hume Pipe Association Standards.
