The Spider Method Association proposes a new form of temporary bridge construction called the "Spider Method." In conventional methods, when constructing or dismantling a temporary bridge, it was necessary to install scaffolding on the supporting piles, which required an enormous amount of effort. Additionally, the risk of falling accidents was very high, making the work unsafe. With the Spider Method, there are no restrictions on the movement of the gondola, allowing workers to move safely in any direction—up, down, left, or right—using a remote control, regardless of the presence of a press or other equipment. Furthermore, the installation and removal of the Spider gondola can be done easily. Thus, due to its high workability and safety, it also enables a reduction in construction time and costs.
