The Earth Science Comprehensive Research Institute, Inc. was established in April 1983 as a specialized technical service company in the field of applied earth sciences, equipped with advanced technical capabilities and the latest facilities, centered around engineers with extensive experience in physical exploration, fully funded by Japan Petroleum Exploration Co., Ltd. We conduct various physical explorations aimed at resource development of oil and natural gas both domestically and internationally, while also engaging in research and development related to fundamental and applied technologies, including remote sensing technology for exploring the Earth from space. Currently, we provide consulting services not only in the field of oil and natural gas exploration and development but also in the exploration of underground resources such as geothermal energy, as well as large-scale crustal surveys and geological surveys for earthquake disaster prevention. We are committed to the development of related technologies and are also advancing research into applications in civil engineering, construction, ground surveys, and environmental surveys. Additionally, we independently develop physical exploration equipment, including earthquake monitoring systems, and data processing and analysis systems, making improvements to meet the increasingly challenging topographical, geological conditions, and regional environmental needs of survey sites, earning high recognition both domestically and internationally. As one of the few comprehensive technical service companies exploring the Earth, we will continue to develop and enhance our technologies in the future.
