In 2013, Mogami Clean Center Co., Ltd. obtained certification from the Ministry of the Environment for the harmless treatment of asbestos-containing waste. Until now, we have been conducting melting and harmless treatment of waste asbestos (sprayed asbestos) at existing facilities, but from the fiscal year 2013, we began harmless treatment of asbestos-containing waste at our certified treatment facility (Furnace No. 3). By integrating the melting furnace and feeding equipment, we achieved high-efficiency melting and harmless treatment by pre-treating (crushing) asbestos-containing waste before melting.
