Mogami Clean Center Co., Ltd. is a company located in Mogami County, Yamagata Prefecture, that engages in the intermediate treatment and landfill of industrial waste, as well as the harmless treatment of asbestos-containing waste and other materials. On March 15, 2013, Mogami Clean Center obtained certification from the Ministry of the Environment for the harmless treatment of asbestos-containing waste. Until now, we have been conducting melting and harmless treatment of waste asbestos (sprayed asbestos) at our existing facility (Furnace No. 2), but starting from the fiscal year 2013, in addition to the harmless treatment at the existing facility, we have begun harmless treatment of asbestos-containing materials at our certified treatment facility (Furnace No. 3). Furthermore, we utilize the waste heat from Mogami Clean Center through thermal recycling to cultivate orchids, mountain cherries, and fruit tomatoes. This initiative connects recycling and environmental conservation to new industrial promotion, aiming to contribute to the local community.
