In Japan, visibility is currently only substituted with reflective vests, but EN ISO 20471 (formerly EN 471) is one of the industrial product standards established in advanced European countries for hazard avoidance, setting criteria for high-visibility clothing. It is expected that Japan's industrial standards, JIS, will also adopt similar criteria in the future. The purpose of this high-visibility clothing is to allow the presence of individuals working in potentially hazardous environments to be visually identified, using reflective materials and fluorescent colors to help avoid danger to the wearer. Therefore, requirements are specified for various conditions such as severe weather, twilight, and darkness. Additionally, strict standards must be met regarding fabric color, durability, robustness, design, and the width, angle, and amount of reflective materials used. The E780 series has been created according to these standards. It may become essential in various work environments in the future. For example, it can be considered for road construction workers, gas and electrical workers, supervisors, emergency responders, railway maintenance workers, cargo loading and unloading personnel, delivery drivers, garbage collection workers, airport ground staff, security personnel, parking attendants, and many other professions. This product meets the JIS T-8118 anti-static standard, making it ideal for workplaces that dislike static electricity. ☆ What are the anti-static clothing specifications defined by JIS T-8118? 1. The test results must show that the static charge per piece of anti-static clothing is 0.6μC or less. 2. The fabric must contain conductive fibers. 3. The area of the lining must not exceed 20% of the surface area of the anti-static clothing. 4. Metallic accessories must not be used. However, if they must be used, they should be designed to be non-exposed while worn.
