Sakata Inx Corporation is a globally expanding manufacturer of printing inks. The company has developed its printing ink business globally in North America, Asia, and Europe, and has further dedicated itself to the sales of inkjet inks and pigment dispersions for color filters by utilizing the foundational technologies it has cultivated over many years, thereby expanding its business areas.
Business Activities
Our main business involves the manufacturing and sales of various printing inks and auxiliary agents, as well as products related to printing. Additionally, leveraging the foundational technologies developed through this business, we also manufacture and sell functional materials-related products. As part of our new business development, we have released a markerless AR (augmented reality) app called "3D Planner 2.1," which allows users to virtually arrange furniture such as sofas and tables in indoor photos taken with an iPhone/iPad. The aim is to provide a completely new visual communication service using 3D technology for general customers who are starting a new life in their new homes, as well as for related companies that offer those living solutions. ■ Examples of using "3D Planner 2.0": - To propose more concrete living spaces during property consideration - To assist in room rearrangement and layout decisions during moving - To suggest purchases of office furniture, interior design, system kitchens, etc. - As a customer service tool for the rental real estate industry.
