High Cement Content Soil Improvement Agent MT Series [Construction Case] Sewer Pipe Burial Work

The soil from the sewer installation work was improved by mixing it with quicklime and was immediately removed from the site!

We would like to introduce a case study of the MT series high water content soil improvement agent. This project involves the installation of a sewer pipe. The mud generated from the mud slurry pushing method had a high water content, making it difficult to transport. To address this, we added quicklime to the mud and mixed it appropriately, then added MT-1 and mixed it again, improving its properties to make it transportable within about 15 minutes. Subsequently, it was transported via a standard dump truck through public roads to a temporary storage site located 3 km away. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

High Cement Content Soil Improvement Agent MT Series [Construction Case Study] Urban Mountain Construction Method

Improve the slurry after using the concrete mixer with high cement content soil stabilizer MT-2 and dispose of it immediately!

We would like to introduce a case study of the MT series high cement content soil improvement agent. This project involves the construction of a tunnel in an urban area using the NATM method. The wash water from the ready-mix concrete trucks used on site contained slurry and needed to be regularly transported off-site. However, the site was narrow, and it was difficult to secure a vacuum truck for an extended period. Therefore, MT-2 was adopted due to its characteristics of low additive amount and immediate transport capability. After improving the mud with this product, it was transported to the designated disposal site via a standard 10-ton dump truck, passing through public roads.

High Cement Content Soil Improvement Agent MT Series [Construction Video] Self-Propelled Soil Improvement Machine

[Video] By improving with the MT-2, it is now possible to enhance high moisture content clay soil using a self-propelled soil improvement machine!

We would like to introduce a construction video of the high cement content soil improvement agent MT series. It is a short video of about 1 minute and 30 seconds, so please take a look. This work involves creating improved soil using a self-propelled soil improvement machine. Until now, a challenge has been that high moisture content mud could not be fed into the self-propelled soil improvement machine. Therefore, as a primary treatment, we improved it with MT-2, resulting in a property that can be fed into the self-propelled soil improvement machine. Subsequently, the MT-2 improved soil was further treated with quicklime as a secondary treatment using the self-propelled soil improvement machine. It has also been confirmed that adding MT-2 does not affect the strength development of the improved soil. *For more details, please watch the video or feel free to contact us.

High Cement Content Soil Improvement Agent MT Series [Construction Case] Gas Pipe Restoration Work

This is an example of improving the soil during gas pipe restoration work to achieve rapid operations!

We would like to introduce a case study of the high water content soil improvement agent MT series. This project involves the restoration of a gas pipe buried underground. When we excavated the shaft, groundwater emerged at depths of 10 to 30 meters, causing mud and muddy water to hinder the construction. Additionally, the temporary storage yard was narrow, requiring immediate removal of the mud. As a solution, MT-1 was adopted, and this product was added to the mud mixed with quality soil for improvement. The improved soil was promptly transported to an improvement plant located about 15 kilometers away. The main objective of this project was the restoration of the gas pipe, and there were concerns about the time and cost involved in removing the mud. The high water content soil improvement agent MT series provides reliable support for unexpected mud situations. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

High Cement Content Soil Improvement Agent MT Series [Construction Case Studies] Infrastructure Development Project

Optimal for the field! A case where excavation for waterway widening was adopted in the infrastructure development project.

This construction project is a land readjustment project aimed at the large-scale consolidation of rice paddies. In this project, the initial plan was to backfill the existing waterway with locally generated soil for agricultural use. However, due to the high moisture content of the locally generated soil, we considered methods for soil improvement, but using cement or lime was not feasible due to concerns about their impact on crops. Therefore, we conducted trial mixtures to see if the high-water-content clay soil improvement agent MT-2 could be used. As a result, all soil environmental standard component analysis items were below the standard values, and the soil hardness (Yamanaka method) was determined to be 12mm after 21 days, leading us to conclude that backfilling with improved soil was possible, and we proceeded with mixing at the site of the existing waterway. Furthermore, considering future subsurface drainage and agricultural practices, the use of improved soil was limited to a depth of 80cm below the surface. Subsequently, improved soil was also utilized in adjacent construction projects. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Efficient transportation of large amounts of deposited soil! A case where deposited soil was improved, and primary transportation was carried out using a roller dump within the reservoir, followed by secondary transportation to a temporary storage site several kilometers away using dump trucks.

This construction project involves dredging the sediment from a reservoir. At the same site, the accumulation of sediment in the reservoir had reduced its water storage capacity, causing issues. However, the high moisture content of the sediment made it difficult to transport using dump trucks. Therefore, a high moisture content sediment improvement agent, MT-2, which is neutral and allows for immediate transport from the site, was adopted. The original sediment was improved with this product, and after primary transportation within the site using a crawler dump truck, the treated soil was transported to a temporary storage area several kilometers away using dump trucks. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

High Cement Content Soil Improvement Agent MT Series [Construction Case] Drainage Pump Station Construction Work

This is an example of improvement using this product, which has been treated to be neutral and dust-proof, in a site where environmental considerations are necessary, specifically with leftover soil from piles.

This construction project involves the construction of a drainage pumping station. During the pile driving using the Nakabori pile method, high-water-content clay soil was generated, so we were considering a simple treatment method. Additionally, consideration for the surrounding environment was an important issue at this site. Therefore, a neutral and dust-proof treated high-water-content clay soil modifier, MT-2, was adopted. After improving the soil with this product, it was immediately transported to a temporary storage area by dump truck. The sand-mixed silt layer had a water content ratio of 50%. With the addition of 3 kg/m3 of MT-2 and approximately 10 minutes of mixing, it became possible to transport it immediately. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

High Cement Content Soil Improvement Agent MT Series [Construction Case] Treatment of Water Purification Generated Soil

We will respond to 'I want to clear the sun-dried floor immediately!' This is an example of adding the high moisture clay soil improvement agent MT series to the purified water generated soil and immediately transporting it to a temporary storage area.

This construction project involves the removal of treated water sludge that has been discharged onto the solar drying bed at the water purification plant. At the same purification plant, due to heavy rain, the turbidity of the dam that serves as the water source increased, leading to a rise in the amount of treated water sludge discharged onto the solar drying bed, which posed a risk of the treatment cycle falling behind. Therefore, to urgently remove the treated water sludge from the solar drying bed, a high-water-content mud modifier, MT-1, was adopted, and after being modified with this product, it was immediately transported to a temporary storage area on-site. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
