We would like to introduce a case where we created VR for training and awareness purposes to convey the experience of dementia in an immersive way. Traditionally, explanations were primarily based on books, paper, and text. Even if the situation could be described in words, it was difficult for participants to concretely imagine what it actually looked like, limiting the extent of understanding. The completed "Virtual Kankan Dementia Study" is being utilized in actual training sessions. Many participants who experienced the VR expressed that it was an eye-opening experience, leading to an improvement in their understanding of the training. [Case Overview] ■ Challenge: To clearly convey how individuals with dementia perceive the world. ■ Traditional Approach: Explaining dementia using books, paper materials, and text. ■ Required Specifications: Participants should be able to confirm information through self-operation. ■ Proposed Solution: A VR experience based on the familiar "meal scene" from everyday life. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

At Ritsumeikan University, we conducted the production of a virtual tour as part of a class where students and companies collaborate on ideas. We created a VR representation of the facilities at the Osaka Ibaraki Campus. By incorporating student feedback, users can experience the facilities at different times of the day, and it showcases the strengths and advantages of facilities and cafeterias that can be used during free time. Parents can see that students are learning effectively, while high school and middle school students can realize that there is a solid learning environment available. 【Features】 - Incorporates student opinions, allowing for facility experiences at different times - Content that encourages the use of facilities and cafeterias during free time - (For parents) Clearly demonstrates that students are learning effectively - (For high school and middle school students) Allows them to realize that a solid learning environment exists *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

We would like to introduce a case where special completion photos were resolved using drone 360° shooting technology and editing techniques. We received an inquiry from a completion photographer stating, "The camera angle of the drone is often around 24mm. We need to capture everything within the parking lot. Is there anything we can do about it?" We proposed shooting for 360° and applying the necessary processing to extract the required images. Fortunately, the weather was favorable, and we were able to deliver the final product successfully. 【Case Overview】 ■ Challenge: Due to the eaves of the roof, the windows on the third floor are not visible. ■ Result: - The photos taken for 360° were carefully assembled and edited. - The final output as completion photos was greatly appreciated. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

We will introduce a case where the entire facility was 3D scanned using the Matterport Pro3 to create a VR space, thereby streamlining on-site inspections. At construction sites, it was necessary to visit multiple times for on-site verification, which resulted in significant burdens in terms of travel time and transportation costs. Additionally, it was difficult to grasp the entire space with just photographs, leading to challenges in information sharing within the company and with partner companies. In response, our company has provided an environment where the site can be freely viewed on various devices simply by accessing it through a browser. We have enabled the use of measurement and tagging functions as needed, allowing for the sharing of equipment information and important notes within the VR space. [Challenges] ■ The situation cannot be understood without going on-site. ■ The entire space cannot be grasped through photographs. ■ There are occurrences of missed shots and confirmations. ■ There are discrepancies in understanding among stakeholders. ■ Confirming distant sites incurs time and costs. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

We would like to introduce a case where we performed 3D measurement (3D scanning) of a site using the Matterport Pro3 and created DWG drawings in a short period of time. During the renovation work, multiple measurements were taken on-site to create CAD drawings, which resulted in significant burdens in terms of work time and labor costs. Therefore, based on the acquired 3D data, we utilized Matterport's add-on service to create 2D CAD drawings in DWG format. By simultaneously delivering VR data, we provided an environment where site conditions that cannot be understood from the drawings alone can be checked from a PC or other devices. [Challenges] - We want to shorten the time for on-site surveys. - We want to prevent measurement omissions. - We want accurate DWG drawings. - We do not want to visit the site multiple times. - We want to share information within the company. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

We would like to introduce the achievements of a construction company that has implemented 3D scanning using Matterport to streamline on-site surveys and drawing tasks. Before the implementation, surveys relied on photos, measurements, and handwritten notes, leading to issues such as missed photos and forgotten measurements by less experienced staff. The need for re-visits to the site due to missed confirmations and the significant amount of time required became major challenges. After the implementation, it became possible to record the interior of buildings in 3D with Matterport, moving away from reliance solely on photos and handwritten notes. It became easier for one person to conduct on-site surveys, significantly increasing the number of cases handled in a day, and a system was established that allows for easier surveys even with a small number of staff. 【Previous Challenges】 ■ Lengthy on-site surveys ■ Forgetting to measure necessary areas ■ Insufficient photos of locations to be confirmed later ■ Difficulty in determining recording locations by less experienced staff ■ Re-visits to the site due to missed confirmations *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
