The "NAPI Metal Flat Gasket" does not use gas in the atmosphere, so there is no concern about hydrogen embrittlement. It is mainly produced by pressing tough pitch copper plates (thicknesses of 1.0t, 1.5t, 2.0t) to punch out the outer and inner diameters, followed by trimming (barrel polishing for smaller diameters), and then heat annealed in a vacuum to provide products with a stable quality at a hardness of Hv40 to 45.
