It is a glass that meets the "Borosilicate Glass-1" standard specified by JIS, offering excellent chemical durability and heat resistance. It does not contain any heavy metals such as lead, zinc, or cadmium, nor does it use sulfurous acid or antimony, which are commonly used as bubble agents in regular glass. Due to its low expansion coefficient, it has high heat resistance, capable of withstanding a temperature shock of 250 degrees with minimal expansion and contraction from heating and rapid cooling.
