The Woodless Rescue Deck is a water-based glass-type polysiloxane coating that forms colloidal glass for wood. It ensures a slip resistance effect of CSR 0.7 or higher and meets the standards for urban development in welfare in Tokyo. It is also used to prevent splintering and slipping on wooden decks in nursery schools, kindergartens, and elementary schools. Conventional polysiloxane resin coatings are distributed with silanes in an alcohol solvent, resulting in low viscosity and difficulty in forming inorganic films. However, by making it water-based, it has become easy to apply an inorganic coating of over 20 microns to wood.
