In the trend of decarbonization, the number of electric vehicles is increasing, and the spread of standard chargers for EVs and PHEVs is progressing. The EV/PHEV Standard Charger Checker HEV-CHK001 allows for the diagnosis of charging functions during the installation or maintenance of standard chargers without the need to have an electric vehicle on-site. By utilizing the HEV-CHK001, the workload of the following individuals involved in on-site work verification can be reduced: ● Personnel responsible for the installation of EV standard chargers ● Personnel involved in the maintenance and inspection of EV standard chargers ● Service personnel from EV standard charger manufacturers ● Administrators of EV standard chargers

Free membership registrationIn recent years, mega-solar installations have been constructed with string voltages exceeding 1000V due to the increased capacity of modules and the reduction in the number of components in the system. Until now, only insulation resistance meters that measured up to 1000V were available, so insulation resistance tests were likely conducted at night when the system was not generating power. This measuring device performs insulation resistance tests using a method that does not cause short circuits, as specified in the JPEA guidelines. It measures in the order of P-E and N-E, allowing for measurements to be taken without damaging the solar cells, even if there are abnormalities present. 【Other Features】 ● Quantifies the state of insulation degradation ● Function to identify ground fault locations in strings (up to 50 modules) ● Continuity check function for the grounding wire connected from the module to the grounding terminal Weighing only 1.2 kg and in a handy type, it is suitable for on-site completion inspections and regular inspections.

Free membership registrationIt is a measuring instrument that can measure the power conditioner unit's generation index (performance ratio) as part of the I-V curve tracer function. The measurement of the performance ratio allows for the simultaneous measurement of the module's generation efficiency and the power conditioner's conversion efficiency without stopping the power conditioner. It can also be used as a data logger, making it a convenient measuring instrument for monitoring the generation status in low-voltage power plants where monitoring systems are not used. If any abnormal values are detected on the module side, it can be used to investigate output characteristics as an I-V curve tracer. Additionally, the main unit weighs approximately 1.2 kg, making it compact and lightweight enough to be held with one hand.

Free membership registrationBy measuring the solar radiation at the site and the temperature of the module, the actual values can be calculated to STC (Standard Test Conditions) and compared with the rated values of the module to determine if it is producing output. This allows for the identification of output degradation due to dirt or deterioration of the module by comparing the measured values during regular inspections. Maintenance and servicing can be performed for systems ranging from residential to mega-solar, and measurements can be taken for individual modules. By comparing the measured values under the same conditions as the rated values specified in the JPEA guidelines, it is possible to detect output degradation that does not distort the I-V curve. Additionally, performance can be compared during each inspection to monitor output degradation due to performance decline.

Free membership registrationThe PV CHECKs solar power measurement device covers the inspection items (ground wire continuity resistance, insulation resistance, open circuit voltage, short circuit current, and current measurement during PCS operation) that should be checked at the completion and maintenance inspection of solar power generation systems, all in one device. The measurement items comply with the JPEA guidelines, which are the maintenance and inspection guidelines for solar power generation systems provided by the Japan Photovoltaic Energy Association. For open circuit voltage and short circuit current measurements, a comparative judgment is made using a solar radiation sensor and a temperature sensor to perform STC (Standard Test Conditions) calculations, and pass/fail judgments are made based on absolute value comparisons with the registered rated values of the modules. The insulation resistance measurement can identify areas where the insulation resistance of the string has deteriorated, as the measurement device has a built-in short circuit. With the standard inclusion of a DC clamp, it is also possible to measure the power generation efficiency on the module side without stopping the PCS.

Free membership registrationThe product is designed in accordance with JISA4722:2017 (Automatic Door Set for Pedestrians - Safety) and European standards EN12445, EN12453, EN16005, and EN18650. These standards mandate the control of impact forces for automatic doors and also specify the basic specifications for equipment that measures impact forces. The KMG-2000-G conducts measurements of static and dynamic impact forces over a few seconds, displaying both single and average values from three measurements (compliance with standards) on the display, and it can store data for 166 measurements (3 measurements per item) in its internal memory. Furthermore, by using dedicated software, data analysis, recording, and printing can be performed on a computer. Its compact, lightweight design and simple operation make it highly effective for a wide range of needs, from product design to installation work on-site and maintenance.
