Ebihara Jitsugyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President: Hisashi Suzuki) has developed a device called "MAC-1000" (medical device) that disinfects indoor spaces using ozone gas by applying technology for measuring and controlling ozone. We are pleased to announce that we will begin full-scale sales starting February 1, 2016, targeting medical institutions, cleaning and service companies, and other customers with needs for disinfection and deodorization. (Note) This is the first product in Japan to obtain the general name "ozone gas disinfectant." 1. About the ozone indoor disinfectant "MAC-1000" (1) Product Overview In recent years, there has been an urgent need for hygiene management and preventive measures against infectious diseases in Japan due to outbreaks of new influenza and dengue fever, as well as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) overseas. This product can disinfect every corner of a room from ceiling to floor using the fumigation effect of ozone gas. By adding ozone fumigation to daily cleaning, it reduces the risk of airborne infections (such as influenza, tuberculosis, SARS) as well as the risk of infection through contact with equipment. Additionally, it is the first product in Japan to obtain the general name "ozone gas disinfectant." (Pharmaceutical approval device)
