Shaping the Future: The Era of Intellectual Creativity

Gotoh Electric Co., Ltd. began developing square wires in 1998, ahead of the 21st century, and announced their completion in various newspapers on December 24, 2000. Believing that the 21st century would see a shift from round wires to square wires, we solved numerous challenges and began prototype sales of the wires and prototype winding of coils in 2002, starting mass production of the coils themselves. Thanks to this, we boasted sales of over one million units per month in the fiscal year 2008. This wire, once considered a dream, contributes to miniaturization and weight reduction while demonstrating high performance and efficiency compared to round wires.
