Creating a reliable sound environment for a comfortable living space. The rapid changes in our economic society have manifested as threats to environmental destruction and the global ecosystem, alongside population growth and urbanization. Now, it has become an urgent issue for each of us, as a matter of survival and coexistence, to implement environmentally friendly conservation measures. Regarding the noise and vibration issues closely related to our daily lives, including transportation systems such as roads, shinkansen, and aircraft, measures are being taken in the direction of regulating noise levels to meet environmental standards. At ACT, we advocate for a positive "sound environment design" that does not solely focus on the negative perspective of "sound → vibration → regulation." Instead, we aim to retain the "desirable" necessary sounds for residents, sometimes adding new comfortable sounds, while selectively eliminating harmful "undesirable" sounds. Our philosophy is to envision a reliable sound environment for comfortable urban development, considering climate, local conditions, and urban environments from the perspective of amenities, while coexisting with the natural environment.
