The grip-type pipe fitting "Mie Grip" for general piping made of stainless steel is certified to the Stainless Steel Association standard SAS 322. It is a simple task of inserting the pipe and tightening it with a special tool. The use of a biting ring made of hardened martensitic stainless steel provides excellent pull-out resistance. Even if the pipe twists to some extent due to sudden torque load, it maintains a pressure resistance of 2.5 MPa.
