Our company was founded in June 1907 as a pioneering manufacturer of enamel products. We were the first in Japan to export enamel products to China, and subsequently expanded our sales channels to Southeast Asia, Africa, and America. Later, based on the solid technology cultivated in enamel, we transitioned to manufacturing stainless steel products, and now we are one of the largest comprehensive manufacturers of stainless steel pipe fittings in Japan. The "MIE" mark, which is a testament to the quality of our products, is recognized as a high-quality brand around the world and has earned trust.
Business Activities
Our main business involves the manufacturing of stainless steel pipe fittings and flanges, which are joints for piping systems in factories, as well as prefabricated piping processing for entire piping systems. Our products are used in a wide range of industries, including petrochemicals, paper manufacturing, food, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, shipbuilding for LNG and LPG tankers, chemical tankers, and factory pipelines for seawater desalination plants. When high corrosion resistance is required, we work with difficult-to-process materials such as stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, Hastelloy, and duplex alloys. We are designated as an ISO 9001 certified facility for international quality management assurance and have also received approval for butt welding construction from organizations such as the Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK) and the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), allowing us to engage in fields that demand high technical expertise.
