We want to eliminate the damage caused by the collapse of houses due to earthquakes. This is an NPO dedicated to "disaster reduction."

The origin of our NPO, the Japan Earthquake Resistance and Disaster Prevention Organization, lies in our involvement over nearly three years in the removal of collapsed houses and the reconstruction of disaster housing following the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. The fact that the majority of the over 6,400 victims were due to house collapses and furniture tipping immediately after the earthquake led to our efforts in researching, developing, and experimenting with earthquake-resistant reinforcement and collapse prevention methods. Through the establishment of the Earthquake Resistance Planner system, we conduct training to cultivate practitioners capable of performing earthquake diagnostics and reinforcements. We are also actively engaged in unique technological innovations and are committed to building and disseminating earthquake-resistant systems that respond broadly to societal needs, contributing to the creation of earthquake-resistant communities.
