Free membership registrationThis column discusses heat exchangers used in automobiles. We introduce the main applications and names, such as the "radiator" that cools engine coolant, the "oil cooler" that cools engine oil, and the "evaporator" that creates cool air for car air conditioning. Due to the limited space inside the vehicle, there has always been a strong demand for miniaturization and lightweight design as measures for fuel efficiency. We invite you to read it. 【Overview of Contents (Excerpt)】 ■ Radiator ■ Oil Cooler ■ Evaporator ■ Condenser ■ Heater Core *For detailed content of the column, please refer to the related links. Free membership registrationRecommended for those who want to create several heat exchangers using wavy fins. ■ Plate Type A heat exchanger constructed by stacking several types of plate materials and our wavy fins. By innovating the hole shapes, plate thickness, and fin dimensions of the plate materials, it is possible to design heat exchangers with various flow path structures. It is recommended for applications such as liquid-liquid heat exchangers when the fin height is low. ■ Radiator Type A heat exchanger with a radiator structure composed of tubes and headers made from two sheets of metal, along with two types of fins. By making the header part a laminated structure, it easily accommodates variations in fin height and the number of tubes. It is recommended for situations where the header side is connected to existing piping and one side is cooled by a fan or similar device. Currently, design drawing data is available for download. 【Features】 ■ The variation in fin height is small due to press processing, and the flatness of the top and bottom surfaces is high. ■ By changing the curvature and pitch of the wave shape, it supports small-lot production. ■ Customization is possible for shape, material, thickness, and manufacturing method. *For more details, please refer to the materials available via the download button. ★ Free samples are currently being offered. If you are interested, please apply through the inquiry form.

Free membership registrationThe heat transfer fins essential for compact and high-performance heat exchangers come in various shapes, such as corrugated, wave, and offset shapes. Each shape requires a mold, making them not easily accessible. To cater to such customers, we have cataloged the waving fins. ■ Wave R1.6 The fin heights are available in three types: 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm. The Wave R has a small size and a small wave pitch, resulting in turbulent and disturbed flow. Among the three types, it has the highest heat transfer performance, but also has significant pressure loss, requiring fins or pumps with high static pressure. ■ Wave R2.8 The fin heights are available in five types ranging from 2mm to 6mm. Its performance and pressure loss are intermediate among the three types. The fluid flows along the moderate waves, making it less likely for debris to clog. ■ Wave R20 The fin heights are available in nine types ranging from 2mm to 10mm. Although it has the lowest performance among the three types, it also has low pressure loss, making it a user-friendly shape. With a wide variety of height options, it can be used in various specifications of heat exchangers. Currently, we are offering free samples. You can freely select the number of fins to match your heat exchanger and check the estimated quote online.

Free membership registrationThe "Waving Fin" is a heat transfer fin made from thin sheet metal through press processing. It standardizes the fin height in 1mm increments based on three types of wave shapes, allowing for purchases of single units tailored to needs without the need for mold investment. You can also choose the number of fins, and we can accommodate dimensions other than standard products. Like typical corrugated fins, it can be used as a thin sheet fin for heat exchangers, contributing to improved performance while keeping costs down. 【Features】 ■ The variation in fin height is small due to press processing, and the flatness of the top and bottom surfaces is high. ■ By changing the curvature and pitch of the wave shape, it supports small lot production. ■ Customizations in shape, material, thickness, and manufacturing method are also possible. *For more details, please refer to the materials available via the download button. ★ Free samples are currently being offered. Free membership registrationThe "Corrugated Fin" is a heat transfer fin made by bending thin sheet metal using proprietary equipment. Generally, as the aspect ratio (fin height ÷ fin pitch) increases, the fin thickness becomes thicker and the gaps become smaller. However, by bending thin sheet metal, sufficient gaps can be secured even with an aspect ratio of 20 or more. Moreover, even with a large aspect ratio, the gaps are maintained, making it significantly lighter compared to typical heat sinks of the same size. The maximum fin height is 75mm and the flow path length is 100mm, but we can accommodate requests for custom dimensions. 【Features】 ■ Lightweight while maintaining size and surface area ■ Three sizes available in the lineup (as of September 2021) ■ For users of our folding fins, both sides of the fin contribute to the heat exchange area, allowing for an increase in surface area while remaining lightweight. *You can view materials introducing examples of problem-solving from the "PDF Download."

Free membership registrationThe "Slit Folding Fin (FFSL)" is a fin shape that has been improved from our original shape, the Folding Fin (hereafter referred to as FF). By adding slits to the fin part of the FF, flexibility is created in directions that could not be bent with the FF, allowing the fins to be wrapped not only parallel to the piping but also vertically. Depending on the orientation of the piping and the location of attachment, changing the installation direction allows for aligning the fin's orientation to an optimal direction even in retrofitting, enabling high performance. 【Features】 ■ Flexible ■ Lightweight ■ High performance *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
