In light of the anticipated occurrence of large-scale earthquakes such as the Nankai Trough and a direct earthquake under the capital, it has become a crucial challenge for office building and facility managers to determine "how to assess and respond immediately after a disaster" in order to resume business operations. After an earthquake occurs, on-site personnel will confirm the safety of buildings using a damage assessment system and make decisions regarding initial response. Meanwhile, the headquarters needs to understand the damage situation of multiple buildings as well as the surrounding disaster conditions, prioritizing responses and providing support accordingly. In this webinar, we will introduce how to obtain and integrate information from both the "inside" and "outside" of buildings, and how to connect this to decision-making and execution after a disaster, with specific outputs, through the collaboration of Hakusan Kogyo, a professional in seismic disaster prevention, and JX Communications. Event Overview Date: August 5, 2026 (Wednesday) 12:10 PM - 1:00 PM Participation Fee: Free Method: Conducted via Zoom

The occurrence of large-scale earthquakes, including the Nankai Trough earthquake, poses a significant risk to business continuity for the manufacturing industry. For companies with many locations and factories, the damage can be extensive, leading to production halts and serious disruptions in the supply chain. However, the reality faced by disaster prevention personnel in factories and manufacturers is the harsh condition of "limited budgets and personnel." It is not easy to implement sufficient measures at all factories. In this webinar, starting from the damage estimates of the Nankai Trough earthquake, we will thoroughly explain the key points of preemptive measures and post-response actions that should be prioritized under limited conditions, presented by Hakusan Kogyo, a professional in seismic disaster prevention. Additionally, we will introduce specific solutions to expedite initial responses immediately after an earthquake occurs, minimizing damage. We will answer the questions that trouble disaster prevention personnel in factories and manufacturers, such as "Where should we start?" and "How can we achieve maximum effectiveness with minimal costs?" and provide tips that can be implemented starting tomorrow. This is essential content for executives, facility managers, and disaster prevention personnel who want to achieve earthquake-resistant facility operations.
